Role Description

The Photography Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting visual content creation for Equity House’s initiatives. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will assist with:

  • Planning and capturing photos that reflect the brand’s mission and activities, including product photography and lifestyle imagery.
  • Editing images for use across digital platforms.
  • Helping organize and maintain a visual asset library.
  • Supporting basic video production tasks when needed.

This role collaborates with marketing and content teams to ensure consistent visual storytelling, and offers learning opportunities in professional workflows, feedback processes, and project-based work.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Photography and Product Photography, with an eye for composition and storytelling.
  • Skills in Lighting and Image Editing for creating high-quality, polished visuals.
  • Basic experience or interest in Video Production to support multimedia projects.
  • Access to a reliable camera (DSLR, mirrorless, or high-quality mobile) and necessary software for editing.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Clear communication skills and willingness to receive and apply constructive feedback.
  • Interest in youth empowerment, education, future of work, or social impact initiatives.
  • Current student or recent graduate in photography, media, design, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
