Who Are We

Speed NetworkNow is a fast-growing, innovation-driven startup based in London.

We create structured networking experiences for entrepreneurs, startups, freelancers and professionals, while building a wider ecosystem around content, business growth, education and technology.

As our events and brand continue to grow, we want to give an aspiring photographer or visual content creator the opportunity to gain practical experience in event photography, brand storytelling, social media content and professional visual communication.

This is a learning-focused opportunity designed to help you build confidence, expand your portfolio and understand how photography is used in real business, events and marketing environments.

Who This Opportunity Is For

This internship may be particularly relevant to students, recent graduates or career changers studying or exploring areas such as:

  • Photography
  • Film & Television Production
  • Media Production
  • Digital Media
  • Creative Media
  • Visual Communication
  • Journalism or Multimedia Journalism
  • Advertising or Creative Advertising
  • Marketing or Digital Marketing
  • Graphic Design
  • Fashion Communication
  • Fine Art with a photography focus
  • Content Creation or Social Media

It may also suit self-taught photographers or content creators who already enjoy photography and want to develop more professional experience.

You do not need to already be a professional photographer.

What matters most is that you have a genuine interest in visual storytelling, a willingness to learn, and some basic familiarity with photography or creative content.

What You’ll Be Learning

Through guided projects, events and creative activities, you may gain practical exposure to:

  • Event photography
  • Candid and documentary-style photography
  • Professional portraits and personal branding
  • Networking and business-event photography
  • Social media photography
  • Brand storytelling
  • Composition, framing and lighting
  • Capturing people naturally in live environments
  • Selecting the strongest images from a shoot
  • Basic photo editing and colour correction
  • Preparing images for social media, websites and marketing
  • Understanding how different images support different business goals

You’ll also learn how photography connects with marketing, PR, social media, personal branding and startup storytelling.

Learn Through Real Events & Creative Projects

A major part of the experience is the opportunity to learn through real situations.

Depending on upcoming activities, you may have opportunities to practise photography at Speed NetworkNow events in London, including:

  • Entrepreneur networking events
  • Speaker sessions
  • Business workshops
  • Founder and professional portraits
  • Community activities
  • Behind-the-scenes moments
  • Branded event environments

You’ll be able to review your work, receive feedback and better understand what makes an image effective for different audiences and platforms.

The focus is not simply on taking more photographs — it is on learning how to think like a professional visual storyteller.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
