Bincom Global Volunteer Programme

Our volunteer programme provides an opportunity to gain practical backend development experience while working with PHP/Laravel technologies in a collaborative environment.

At Bincom Global Volunteer Programme, you’ll contribute to web application projects while learning how backend systems are developed, tested, and maintained alongside experienced engineers.

This programme is designed to help you build your backend development skills through hands-on experience. It is ideal for students, recent graduates, career changers, and self-taught developers who are ready to learn and grow.

What you’ll do

As a Backend Developer Trainee, you’ll support the development and maintenance of real web applications while learning professional backend engineering practices. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining backend features using PHP
  • Building and managing databases to support web applications
  • Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable server-side code
  • Supporting application testing, debugging, and deployment activities
  • Collaborating with frontend developers, designers, and project managers
  • Learning modern backend development workflows, version control, and best practices

Who this is for
