PHP Engineer
Drive Innovation, Lead Elite Teams, Shape the Future of HR Tech
🚀 What You'll Do
- Design and develop reliable, scalable PHP applications with a strong focus on modern AI-assisted development workflows.
- Leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Devin to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with your team to explore and adopt emerging AI development practices and integrate them into everyday engineering work.
- Contribute to improving and maintaining legacy PHP codebases through continuous, AI-supported refactoring approaches.
- Deploy production code using established CI/CD pipelines, including Terraform and GitHub Actions, incorporating AI tools where appropriate.
- Work closely with engineers, UX designers, and product teams to deliver high-quality features efficiently.
- Take ownership of your work, writing clean, well-tested code and continuously improving your development practices.

💻 Your Expertise
- Experience as a software engineer working on production applications.
- Familiarity with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with cloud services and modern deployment practices.
- Exposure to, or willingness to utilise, AI developer tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to a high degree.
- Working knowledge of Laravel and modern PHP development practices.
- Comfortable working with both modern frameworks and some legacy systems.
- Basic experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
- Understanding of core software design principles and best practices.
- Awareness of secure coding practices.
- Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
