About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Web Developer to join our dynamic technical team in Chichester, West Sussex. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in modern PHP development, with a keen interest in developing clean, maintainable, and scalable code. Candidates should have experience working with PHP frameworks or large-scale PHP applications, demonstrating a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Familiarity with code quality tools such as PHPUnit, static analysis, and automated testing processes is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to investigate and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

A proven track record of successful project delivery, accurate estimation, and risk management will set candidates apart. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain bespoke web applications and business systems tailored to client specifications.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and clients to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into ongoing projects.
- Manage project priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment without traditional project management layers.
- Assist in technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
