Physical Education Teacher (0.5 FTE)

St Padre Pio Catholic Primary School – 2027

St Padre Pio Catholic Primary School is excited to invite applications for a passionate and energetic Physical Education Teacher (0.5 FTE) to join our staff team. This role will commence on 27 January 2027.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the culture, traditions, and sporting identity of a brand-new Catholic primary school. We are seeking an educator who is committed to fostering a love of physical activity, promoting student wellbeing, and creating engaging learning experiences that inspire every child to participate, challenge themselves, and thrive.

About the Role:

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to establish a high-quality specialist program that develops students' physical literacy, confidence, teamwork, resilience, and healthy lifestyle habits from the very beginning of their schooling.

Working closely with staff and leadership, you will play an important role in building a positive and inclusive school culture where every student feels encouraged to participate and achieve success.

Our specialist program is anticipated to operate across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in 2027, with opportunities for the program to grow as the school expands.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
