Applications are invited for this new post.
This new post will develop and lead the delivery of all aspects of physical examination skills teaching in the Cambridge Clinical Course. This post has been created out of recognition that there needs to be overall academic and strategic oversight of the teaching of the core professional skill of physical examination, which is currently delivered across multiple parts of the course.
The postholder will report to the Clinical Sub-Dean for Curriculum, and work closely with other members of the teaching team, in particular leads of the Undergraduate Clinical Supervisor Programme, the curriculum integration lead, the three Intimate examination skills leads and the student academic support lead. The postholder will work with the curriculum and assessment teams to maximise alignment between course intended learning outcomes, teaching and assessment of physical examination.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
