Security Design Consulting Specialist
Kroll is seeking a Security Design Consulting Specialist to provide physical security design and consulting services to international clients. The role requires strong capability in the design, review, specification, and assurance of integrated physical security solutions, particularly electronic security systems (ESS) such as CCTV/VSS, access control, intrusion detection, alarms, and associated infrastructure, alongside layered physical protection measures.
A core expectation of this position is the ability to remain current with emerging physical security technologies (including advancements in video analytics, identity credentials, cloud and cyber-secure ESS architectures, and systems integration) and to translate those developments into practical, standards-aligned design recommendations. The successful candidate will also demonstrate working knowledge of relevant international and regional standards, codes, and industry good practice, and will apply these to deliver compliant, resilient security designs across diverse operating environments.
This role supports client programmes across Europe and the Middle East and requires up to 50% travel.
Location and Working Pattern
- Hybrid role: Combination of home-based and London office-based work when not travelling or attending client sites.
- Candidates must reside within commuting distance of London and have the right to live and work in the UK.
- Kroll will not sponsor overseas applicants for this London-based role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
