Meta Physical Security Operations Regional Manager
Meta is seeking an experienced Physical Security Operations Regional Manager to lead and advance enterprise-scale physical security programs across a defined geographic region. In this role, you will drive the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of physical security operations protecting Meta's people, facilities, and assets — including offices, events, and critical infrastructure. You will serve as a regional authority on security operations, crisis leadership, and security vendor management, partnering with global security leadership, real estate, legal, and cross-functional teams to deliver resilient and adaptive security programs aligned with Meta's mission.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the regional physical security operations strategy, including protective services, access control programs, guard force management, and security technology deployment across a complex portfolio of facilities
- Lead the assessment, design, and implementation of physical security standards and countermeasures for offices, events, and other critical infrastructure within the region
- Manage relationships with contract security service providers, conducting performance reviews, audits, and program evaluations to ensure service delivery meets defined standards
- Partner with global security leadership, real estate, legal, and operations teams to align regional security programs with enterprise-wide risk management objectives
- Conduct and oversee physical security risk assessments, threat analyses, and vulnerability evaluations for regional facilities, translating findings into actionable mitigation plans
- Lead regional incident response coordination, including crisis management, emergency response planning, and post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain regional security metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to communicate the program's health and risk posture to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Identify emerging physical security threats and operational gaps, developing novel approaches and contingency plans to build organizational resilience across the region
- Mentor and coach physical security professionals and cross-functional partners on security best practices, risk frameworks, and operational standards
- Represent the physical security function in cross-functional forums, influencing facility design decisions, technology investments, and policy development with a long-term strategic lens
- Lead crisis management efforts across the region, working closely with intelligence partners, proactively responding to complex and evolving threat landscapes and developing lessons learned

Minimum Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in physical security operations, protective services, or a related security discipline within a large-scale enterprise or critical infrastructure environment
- Experience leading regional or multi-site physical security programs, including guard force management, access control systems, and security technology platforms
- Experience conducting physical security risk assessments, threat analyses, and vulnerability evaluations for complex facility portfolios
- Experience managing third-party security service providers, including contract oversight, performance management, and compliance auditing
- Experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders through data-driven security recommendations and strategic communication

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing and exercising crisis management and emergency response plans in coordination with law enforcement and government agencies
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Experience with physical security technology applications and evolving industry trends
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Professional certification in physical security such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP)
- Experience integrating physical security operations with electronic security systems, including video surveillance, intrusion detection, and access control platforms
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Experience supporting physical security programs at a regional or global scale
