Physical Security Manager – Operations

Hybrid into the London office with international travel

Competitive Salary + Bonus + Healthcare + Pension

About the Role

Protecting our people, customers, assets, infrastructure, and information is critical to how we operate. This role owns the operational delivery of physical security across the business — combining security operations, risk management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement to keep sites safe and resilient.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Physical Security Manager to lead physical security operations across our clients' sites, working closely with Operations, Legal, Health & Safety, IT, and external agencies to ensure security supports business resilience without compromising customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Security Operations: Own site security procedures and post orders; conduct security inspections, audits, and assurance activities; oversee access control, visitor management, and key/asset handling.
  • Access Control & Surveillance: Oversee enterprise access control and CCTV platforms, ensuring systems are maintained, tested, and operational; support technology upgrades and new site deployments.
  • Incident Management: Lead responses to security incidents and emergencies; investigate theft, unauthorised access, and other security events; produce reports and corrective action plans; liaise with law enforcement where required.
  • Risk & Compliance: Conduct physical security risk assessments; monitor geopolitical and emerging threats; support certification and audit activity (ISO 27001, SOC 2, customer security audits).
  • Vendor Management: Manage contracted guarding providers, SLAs/KPIs, and supplier performance reviews; manage security budgets within delegated authority.
  • Business Continuity: Support crisis management, emergency exercises, and site resilience testing.
  • Customer Support: Support customer security audits and due diligence visits, providing security advice during onboarding.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
