The Physical Therapist role is a full-time, hybrid position based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some work from home. The Physical Therapist will assess patients’ physical conditions, develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to support recovery and improve functional mobility. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Conducting clinical evaluations
- Documenting progress
- Coordinating care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Educating patients and families on exercises, prevention strategies, and ongoing self-care
The role may also involve providing home care guidance, supporting discharge planning, and ensuring evidence-based practice aligned with organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
- Skills in Patient Care and Home Care, with a focus on safety, education, and continuity of care in clinical and home settings.
- A solid foundation in Medicine relevant to musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions treated in physical therapy.
- Professional qualifications such as a degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent), current registration/licensure to practice in the United Kingdom, and experience in outpatient, inpatient, or community settings are beneficial.
- Additional beneficial skills include strong communication and documentation abilities, cultural competence, teamwork in multidisciplinary environments, and basic digital literacy for electronic health records.
