Band 7 dependent upon experience and qualification
- You will provide expert assistance to multidisciplinary teams in the provision of high quality care to patients.
- You will work under the direction of a supervising Consultant and mentor, working collaboratively with other members of the clinical team and working within the Trust’s policies and clinical guidelines.
- You will be expected to liaise with other professionals and specialties as required and complete necessary documentation relating to your patients.
- You will perform delegated duties with a high degree of clinical skill and knowledge, working within clinical environments.
- You will become involved in all activities of the Directorate, including clinical governance, quality improvement projects, research, and teaching.
- You may also represent the Directorate at internal and external meetings as appropriate.

In this role, you will:
- Assess and examine patients, initiate and interpret investigations, and recommend appropriate management.
- Present patients and plans to the team when appropriate.
- Participate in ward rounds, medical triage, and clinics to assess and plan management for patients under Consultant supervision.
- Work with and support other healthcare professionals within the medical team.
