Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is seeking a Full-time Pediatric Intensivist / CVICU physician
Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is seeking a Full-time Pediatric Intensivist / CVICU physician to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. This position supports our expanding team and offers a unique opportunity to join a world-class heart institute within the Johns Hopkins Medicine system.
Opportunity Highlights
- Full-time position within a 22-bed dedicated CVICU.
- Heart team includes:
- 8 Pediatric Cardiac Intensivists
- 3 Pediatric Cardiac Surgeons
- 20 Pediatric Cardiologists
- 3 Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologists
- Highly skilled Advanced Practice Providers
- Dedicated Pharmacy, Nutrition, and Respiratory Therapy support.
- Provide care for complex congenital and acquired heart disease.
- Support for mechanical circulatory support (ECMO & VAD).
- Integral part of the highest-volume pediatric heart transplant program in South Florida over the last decade.

Preferred Qualifications
- BC/BE in Pediatric Cardiology.
- Completion of advanced training in Pediatric Cardiology.
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, graduate medical education, and research.
- Leadership and collaboration.
Facility & Resources
- Two state-of-the-art cardiac operating rooms.
- Two hybrid catheterization/EP suites
- 28-bed PICU
- 97-bed Level IV NICU
- ACGME accredited fellowships in:
- Pediatric Cardiology
- Pediatric Critical Care
- Neonatology
St. Petersburg / Tampa Bay Area
Year-round sunshine, minutes from award-winning Gulf beaches, rich in arts, culture, sports, and outdoor activities, excellent school systems, 2–4-hour drives to other major FL cities including Orlando, Naples, and Miami.
Salary Range
