This role is offered on a permanent basis. The hours are part-time, 30 hours per week.
About the Role
An exciting development opportunity has arisen to join our Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) as a Band 5 Physiotherapist within our community hospital inpatient setting at Cirencester Hospital.

Continuing Professional Development is a key priority and we actively promote and develop the broadening roles that Physiotherapists and AHPs are able to contribute.
As a Band 5 Physiotherapist you will manage a wide caseload including neurological rehabilitation, falls assessment and prevention and long-term conditions working in a fully integrated MDT setting.
- Assist in the supervision of students and therapy assistants.
- Provide day to day Physiotherapy assessments and interventions as part of the MDT.
- Work alone without direct supervision within your agreed scope of practice.
- Provide leadership and support to the Physiotherapy assistants within the MDT.
- Represent Physiotherapy at MDT meetings and contribute to discharge planning, and support planning for individuals you are working with.

The post holder will receive support from the MDT and the Senior Physiotherapists as well as profession specific support as agreed locally. You will be involved in some prioritising of workload on a daily basis, including some delegation and assignment of work to physiotherapy assistants.
