Simhealth Education develops AI-powered clinical simulations that help healthcare students practice professional and communication skills in a safe, realistic educational environment. Learners can rehearse complex patient conversations, strengthen clinical reasoning, and receive immediate, AI-driven feedback on their decisions and interactions. By accelerating practice readiness, we support university and healthcare institutions seeking to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare education, with a current focus on dietetic and allied health training.
Role Description
The Physiotherapist role can be on a part-time or freelance basis. There are no on-site requirements; the role is entirely virtual. We are seeking a physiotherapist to design and review AI-driven simulation scenarios, ensuring clinical accuracy, realism, and alignment with current physiotherapy guidelines. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with instructional designers and technologists to create case studies, treatment plans, and communication scripts that reflect real-world musculoskeletal, neurological, and/or cardiorespiratory practice. In addition to the above, the role can include providing expert input on assessment and intervention approaches, reviewing learner feedback reports for clinical relevance, and suggesting improvements to simulation content. Depending on time commitment, you may also support user testing sessions, contribute to educational materials, and engage with academic and clinical partners to refine training outcomes.

- HCPC registered physiotherapist with experience in healthcare education and training (e.g., practice educator / lecturer). Experience may include supervising students, developing teaching materials, and/or contributing to competency-based curricula.
- Strong clinical reasoning skills and current knowledge of evidence-based assessment and treatment approaches across common practice areas.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to write clear, structured case narratives, learning objectives, and feedback that support diverse learners.
- Comfort working with digital tools and simulation-based learning platforms, with an interest in AI-driven education and innovation in healthcare training.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams and work with minimal supervision.
- Prior experience in interprofessional education environments is an advantage.
