About the Role
Join our team on a 9-month maternity cover contract and play a key role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy services at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. As an autonomous practitioner, you will manage your own specialist caseload, providing expert assessment, treatment and rehabilitation programmes tailored to individual needs. You'll deliver outstanding patient-centred care while working in line with HCPC and CSP professional standards, as well as the Hospital's values and policies. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Physiotherapist to make a real difference within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high-quality physiotherapy service to Chelsea Pensioners as an independent practitioner
- Manage your own caseload within your specialist area
- Deliver comprehensive physical assessments, exercise programmes, and functional rehabilitation
- Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to plan patient-centred care pathways
- Support continuous improvement, clinical governance and service development
- Advise on clinical risk, specialist interventions, and care planning at MDT meetings
- Help promote health, wellbeing and independence among the Pensioner community

About You
We're looking for a compassionate and motivated HCPC-registered Physiotherapist who is passionate about helping older adults maintain their independence, mobility and quality of life. You'll bring strong clinical expertise and experience supporting individuals with musculoskeletal conditions, physical impairments and functional limitations, along with a commitment to delivering evidence-based, person-centred care. Comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll have excellent communication, assessment and organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail in record keeping, and a genuine enthusiasm for building positive relationships with our residents. Experience working within an elderly care setting or a similar UK healthcare environment would be highly desirable.
