Pelvic Health Physiotherapist - Part Time

This is an exciting opportunity for a part time 15 hours per week Band 6 Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our friendly team at Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital. The post-holder could be based at either Hillingdon or Mount Vernon Hospital depending on days worked but may be required to rotate across site.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be part of the current Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team which comprises of several part time pelvic health trained staff.

Responsibilities

  • To provide specialised assessment and treatment for patients with complex Pelvic Health needs, and to provide expert advice, guidance and information to patients, health and social care professionals, carers and relatives, and other non-professional.
  • To work within the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team which will mainly involve working across the Trust, in the outpatient departments managing patients with various pelvic health dysfunctions/diagnoses but may also need to cover on the maternity wards if required.

Requirements

You should have a good base of experience particularly in pelvic health outpatients, to be able to see patients presenting with various pelvic health conditions such as urinary dysfunction, prolapse and pelvic pain, plus experience in ante and postnatal care of patients you should also have a good background knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions.

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
