Are you a physiotherapist with an interest in pelvic health?

Have you completed B5 rotations through a range of specialities including MSK?

Are you looking for an opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills within pelvic health?

This post is a training opportunity for an enthusiastic Band 5, Physiotherapist who is keen to develop their pelvic health physiotherapy skills. The full-time post in pelvic health is not rotational and initially fixed term for 12 months, allowing a unique opportunity to work within a team of highly skilled pelvic physiotherapists gaining experience in all areas of pelvic health. Successful completion of all competencies will facilitate the post holder to apply for uplift to a specialist pelvic physiotherapist Band 6 post when one is available.

Responsibilities:

  • Support our Physiotherapy Assistant on our inpatient maternity and acute gynaecology wards, as well as Student Physiotherapists joining us on their placements.
  • An outpatient caseload will consist of antenatal and postnatal musculoskeletal dysfunction, bladder dysfunction and pelvic organ prolapse management, bowel dysfunction and chronic pelvic pain conditions.
  • There may also be a requirement to lead pelvic health group sessions within the community.
