Arena Sports Lab is a private practice specializing in biomechanics, nail surgery, and routine podiatry. The team focuses on assessing and treating foot and lower limb conditions to improve mobility, comfort, and overall quality of life. Services range from complex biomechanical evaluations to minor surgical procedures and regular foot care. Role Description
The Physiotherapist will work part-time on-site at the Solihull clinic, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with musculoskeletal and biomechanical conditions in close collaboration with podiatrists.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Conducting detailed physical and functional assessments
- Developing individualized treatment plans
- Delivering evidence-based interventions such as manual therapy, exercise therapy, and rehabilitation programs
- Supporting patients with gait and posture issues
- Post-surgical rehabilitation
- Ongoing management of chronic conditions

The role involves:
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Contributing to multidisciplinary case discussions
- Educating patients on self-management strategies and injury prevention
Additionally, participation in service development, adherence to clinical governance standards, and ongoing professional development are expected.
Qualifications
- Recognized degree in Physiotherapy and current professional registration with the appropriate regulatory body
- Demonstrated experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, preferably with exposure to biomechanics, gait analysis, and lower limb conditions
- Strong skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy and exercise prescription
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, particularly alongside podiatrists, and to coordinate care effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach and the ability to explain clinical information clearly
- Competence in maintaining accurate clinical documentation and using clinic management or electronic health record systems
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, adherence to clinical governance and infection control standards, and ethical practice
