About the Role

Spire Clinics, part of the wider Spire Healthcare Group, are seeking an ambitious and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team as a Physiotherapy Clinic Team Lead at our brand-new Spire Chelmsford Clinic.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist and inspiring leader to play a key role in shaping a new service. As the Physiotherapy Clinic Team Lead, you will lead, coach and support a team of Physiotherapists, ensuring the delivery of outstanding patient care, exceptional clinical standards, and strong commercial performance. You will be passionate about developing others, driving service excellence, and creating a positive and collaborative team culture across all disciplines.

Role Criteria

  • At least three years of experience in a Physiotherapy position.
  • HCPC registered with CSP membership.
  • Degree in Physiotherapy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, supervision, and development support to team members, drawing on previous management and coaching experience.
  • Clinically and administratively lead a team of physiotherapists which will include completing clinical and performance, wellbeing and development (PWD) supervisions, performance management and yearly performance appraisals.
  • Administratively lead a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians including mental health practitioners, General practitioners and healthcare assistants.
  • Work closely with the Regional Operations Manager and Clinical Leads to ensure high clinical standards and strong commercial performance.
  • Manage patient complaints and incidents with support from the Operations team.
  • Take a proactive approach to driving continuous improvement and delivering excellent service.
  • Ensure services are responsive to the needs of the local community and key stakeholders.
  • Assist with recruitment, work force planning and inducting new starters.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with existing referrers and partners.
  • Support the growth and reputation of the service through stakeholder engagement and excellent service delivery.
