Woking Hospital | Physiotherapy | Permanent | Full time
Up To £ 28,000.per Annum Depending On Experience
37.5 hours per week

About the Role
Our physiotherapy team currently have an opportunity for a Physiotherapy assistant. The role will support the senior ward physiotherapist with treating predominantly orthopaedic patients on the ward and help run classes in outpatients.
As our Physiotherapy Assistant you will:
- Support the ward physio to facilitate safe discharges of patients
- Teach post operative exercises to the patients
- Help with administration tasks

Requirements
To succeed as a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will need:
- Experience working in an orthopaedic inpatient environment
- Experience teaching patients exercises
- Good communication skills

We are registered for 27 beds with en-suite facilities on the Ward, two Theatres with facilities including lamina flow and one Minor Operating Theatre, Pre-Assessment, Physiotherapy clinic, Onsite Pharmacy, Mammography, Xray and Ultrasound, with nine consulting rooms in Outpatients.
