Physiotherapy Administrator

Hereford Hospital | Permanent | Part Time
20 hours per week
MONDAY - FRIDAY 9:00 - 14:00 | NO WEEKEND WORK

The role

Working in a small department of 5 permanent physiotherapy staff you will assist in the day to day running of the department. As an integral part of the team, as our Physiotherapy Administrator you will:

  • Arrange and manage appointments
  • Answer enquiries by telephone and email
  • Take payments for outpatient appointments
  • Organise bank staff rotas
  • Be the point of contact for other departments in the hospital and Head office departments such as IT and finance ensuring any matters are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Provide other administration support to the team as required such as filing and photocopying.

The person

To succeed as a Physiotherapy administrator you will:

  • Have good IT and keyboard skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills including a good telephone manner
  • Experience of working within an administration team
  • An excellent team player with the ability to use initiative when required
  • Flexible
  • Articulate and approachable
