PI Solicitor
PQE: 1+ years' experience
LOCATION: Manchester
SALARY: Up to c GBP 55,000 (DOE)
The Role
A multi-award-winning law firm is looking to welcome an experienced Solicitor in joining their thriving occupiers' and public liability department. Throughout this role, the successful candidate will be expected to manage their own individual caseload of fast-track occupiers' and public liability claims, running from inception through to conclusion. Working closely with the team, key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and drafting legal documents
- Negotiating settlements
- Progressing claims effectively through litigation
- Representing clients in court
The Candidate
Applications are appreciated from individuals who demonstrate at least 1 year of experience dealing with occupiers' and public liability. Furthermore, this firm is also considering applications from experienced road traffic accident litigators who are seeking to retrain into occupiers' and public liability work. - A proven track record of handling a litigated caseload
- Experience in dealing with track claims, portal and non-portal cases and litigated files through applications and challenges to trials and disposal hearings
