The Pick Up IT and Network Support Administrator bridges the gap between technical operations and administrative excellence within our rapidly growing Pick Up network. This role serves as the critical operational backbone supporting our integration infrastructure, managing high-value technical assets, and facilitating smooth software and process rollouts for our vast network of retail and locker partners. The role will act as the key internal coordinator to ensure that out-of-home hardware, system data, and partner implementations are executed flawlessly.

Overall Responsibility: To manage the lifecycle of network equipment, generate partner compliance reports, and coordinate multi-site integration rollouts to support scaling out-of-home network operations.

Key Stakeholders: Pick Up Integration Executive, Network/Office Manager, Finance Team, Shop and Locker Partners (e.g., PayPoint, Matalan), Marketing Agencies, and European IT Services.

What This Person Will Be Doing: Overseeing device inventories, tracking hardware repairs, generating operational performance reports, and onboarding new partner locations onto our specialised CRM system.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Key Tasks/Areas of Responsibility

Equipment & Asset Management (Technical & Operational)

  • Maintain a meticulously detailed, active inventory log of all out-of-home technical hardware, including handheld scanners and retail printers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for faulty equipment; perform initial basic diagnostics (e.g., cradle plug-ins, power issues) before coordinating international repairs with external services in France.
  • Manage the reclamation logistics for hardware returning from inactive or legacy partner sites.

Partner Rollouts & Process Implementation (Project Coordination)

  • Support and execute the end-to-end rollout process for new partner expansions (ranging up to hundreds of stores at a time).
  • Systematically onboard new locations into internal platforms, ensuring accurate logging of addresses, site details, and system configurations.
  • Prepare and dispatch comprehensive onboarding documentation, configuration guidelines, and login credentials to new retail partners.

Network Compliance & Data Reporting (Administrative & Financial)

  • Extract and analyse operational data to compile volume and compliance reports for third-party locker and shop partners.
  • Monitor network performance to identify data inaccuracies, faulty locker systems, or partner scanning failures.
  • Coordinate directly with locker providers to log system faults and implement timely, scheduled system deactivations to protect the customer experience.
  • Provide necessary data insights (e.g., total locker/site counts) to the Sales and CRM teams to support ongoing business development.

Team Enablement, Marketing, & Process Control (People & Operations)

  • Review incoming technical or operational updates from locker companies, verifying system interface changes and screen flow updates.
  • Translate technical system adjustments into clear briefing materials and deliver operational training to the wider internal customer service team.
  • Coordinate with external marketing production agencies and key institutional partners (e.g., Post Office) to balance strict brand guidelines with point-of-sale (POS) requirements.
