Location: Thornbury Industrial Estate, Bradford, BD3 7AF

Working hours:

  • Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
  • Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

Pay: Starting at £12.80 per hour, with overtime opportunities

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Start date: ASAP

About Woodlands

Woodlands Home & Garden Group is a well-established British manufacturer employing around 300 people across our sites in Rodley, Leeds (LS13), Bradford (BD3), Horsforth (LS18), JADE Windows & Doors in Batley (WF17) and our Scottish distribution hub in Glenrothes, Fife (KY6). We manufacture and supply timber garden buildings, log cabins, modular buildings, windows and doors to customers across the UK.

About The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Picker / Packer to join our warehouse team at our Thornbury site in Bradford.

You will be responsible for picking, packing and preparing timber products for dispatch to customers across the UK.

This is a physically active role in a busy environment where safety, accuracy, pace and teamwork are important.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately
  • Preparing and finishing timber products for dispatch
  • Checking products against order requirements
  • Using pallet trucks, banding machines and other warehouse equipment
  • Operating forklift trucks where required, with training provided
  • Working towards daily targets and deadlines
  • Reporting damaged, missing or incorrect products
  • Keeping your work area clean, safe and organised
  • Supporting other warehouse activities when required

  • Has previous warehouse, picking or packing experience - desirable
