General Information
We're recruiting for a Pig Breeding Farm Unit Manager in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Our client is one of the leading and most progressive businesses in the Northern Ireland pig sector.
They are looking to employ a Pig Unit Manager to lead their Pig Innovation Centre breeding unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the strong performance of their 380-sow indoor breeding unit producing finished pigs. This modern, recently refurbished indoor farm features adaptive farrowing accommodation and automatic dry feeding systems.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience working with and managing livestock
- Strong motivation and a drive for continuous improvement
- Excellent team leadership and organisational skills
- Passion for farming and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Competent IT skills, including the MS Excel package
- Weekend work availability on a rota basis
