Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for Pilates Instructors based in the London Area, United Kingdom. Pilates Instructors will lead dynamic group classes that focus on proper form, mindful movement, and safe progression for a wide range of abilities.

  • Designing engaging class formats
  • Providing individual corrections and modifications
  • Ensuring a motivating and inclusive studio environment

Instructors will build strong relationships with participants, offer guidance on wellness and injury prevention, and support Psycle’s mission of fostering connection and community. Additional tasks may include:

  • Attending team trainings
  • Collaborating with other instructors
  • Contributing to studio events and member engagement activities

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Pilates Instruction and Teaching, with the ability to guide safe, effective, and inspiring classes.
  • Experience in Group Exercise, including leading diverse class formats and managing different fitness levels.
  • Knowledge of Physical Therapy principles or anatomy to support safe movement, injury prevention, and appropriate modifications.
  • Customer Service skills to build positive relationships, respond to member needs, and create a welcoming environment.
  • Relevant Pilates certifications and/or fitness instructor qualifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working in a team-oriented studio.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required by class schedules.
  • Passion for wellness, community building, and supporting others in achieving their health and fitness goals.
