Expanded Piling, part of Laing O'Rourke, is looking for experienced Piling Foremen to join our teams on major infrastructure and construction projects across the UK.

Key Duties

  • Lead the achievement of Laing O'Rourke safety targets and promote a zero-tolerance approach to unsafe working practices and occurrences.
  • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with Work Instructions, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Lift Plans, and Environmental Plans.
  • Ensure all permits are in place prior to work commencing, including Platform Permits and Permits to Dig.
  • Act as Crane Supervisor and Pile Protection Inspector.
  • Ensure the quality of constructed works complies with agreed specifications and raise NCRs where required.
  • Be aware of the technical requirements of pile designs and specifications to ensure successful delivery on site.
  • Ensure all site paperwork is completed correctly and submitted to the office on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide necessary data to maximise financial recovery.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Piling Foreman.
  • Experience with LDR and CFA piling operations.
  • Strong understanding of piling techniques, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and lead site operatives.
