Looking to build your career in ground engineering? We’re looking for Piling Operatives of all experience levels to join the UK’s largest and most diverse geotechnical and ground engineering contractor. Opportunities are Nationwide, in particular Burton on Trent area.

You’ll be part of a skilled team, with training provided to help you develop your skills and progress in the role.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Working as a piling operative as part of the piling team on construction sites nationwide.
  • Reporting into Site Supervisor
  • Be familiar with and demonstrate commitment to the requirements of the Health and Safety Policy
  • Ensure that near misses, accidents, incidents and other safety concerns are promptly reported to the site supervisor.
  • Be respectful to all people you interact with, treating everyone equally and embracing differences.
  • Conduct self in a way that reflect and promotes the Van Elle company values.
  • Understand and act in accordance with Van Elle’s policies and procedures
  • Any other tasks that you may reasonably be required to undertake.

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience in piling works, not essential as training will be given
  • Strong work ethic and Punctuality
  • Able to Work Nationwide

Other Requirements

  • Eligible to work and live in the UK.
  • Flexibility to travel in the UK.
  • A full driving licence, that is valid in the UK (desirable)
  • Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) card
  • Relevant CPCS cards where applicable.

What you’ll get in return

  • Competitive salary depending on experience.
  • Hours of work are 7.30am - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday
