Role Description
This is a fixed term contract role for a contractor, workshop role for a Pipe Fabrication Welder/Fitter based in Corsham. Responsibilities involve fabricating and welding various types of piping systems with precision and efficiency, performing arc welding, TIG welding, and MIG welding, and working with materials such as stainless steel and mild steel. Additional day-to-day tasks include interpreting technical drawings, assembling pipework, conducting inspections for quality assurance, and collaborating with a team to complete prefabrication projects. Adherence to safety protocols and maintaining high-quality standards is essential for the role.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in welding techniques, including Arc Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding
- Experience in fabricating and fitting components with a focus on pipework
- Strong understanding of materials such as stainless steel and mild steel
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in welding and fabrication work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Prior experience in industrial, domestic, or process-related piping systems is an advantage
- Relevant certification or training in welding and fabrication is preferred
