About The Role

A permanent, full-time Pipe Fitter position is available with an established mechanical services provider based in Liversedge, West Yorkshire. The role involves working Monday to Thursday on 8.5-hour shifts and a 6-hour Friday, totalling 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will undertake industrial pipe fitting duties, with most projects located within a 30-mile radius, although occasional UK travel is required. Applicants should be time-served with solid, hands-on experience in industrial settings. The salary is between £33,280 and £37,440 per annum, dependent on experience, and the position is offered on a PAYE basis. About The Company

Established in 1974 and based in West Yorkshire, we provide expert mechanical service installation solutions nationwide, with most work carried out within a 30‑mile radius of Liversedge.

They now have an opportunity for a competent, time‑served Pipe Fitter to join our team.

Role & Requirements

This is a full‑time, permanent PAYE position for a Pipe Fitter with solid, hands‑on experience in industrial environments. Occasional UK travel may be required depending on workload.

Essential Requirements

  • Practical experience working as a Pipe Fitter within the Industrial sector
  • Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and P&IDs
  • Confident in measuring, marking out and routing pipework
  • Able to install carbon steel and stainless steel pipework
  • Comfortable working independently once given drawings and instructions

Please note: this role is not suitable for trainees, domestic plumbers, or candidates without industrial pipe fitting experience.

Duties

  • Install and assemble carbon steel and stainless steel pipe systems according to specifications
  • Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools
  • Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
  • Install pipe hangers and supports to ensure proper alignment and elevation
  • Inspect and test installed pipe systems for leaks and functionality
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine pipe layouts.
