About the Role
We are looking for experienced Pipelayers to join a major long-term construction project. Working as part of a skilled civils team, you will be involved in the installation of underground utilities, drainage systems, pipelines, and associated infrastructure works.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in civil engineering, utilities, drainage, or infrastructure projects who are committed to delivering work safely and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of underground pipework and utility systems.
- Excavation, trenching, and reinstatement activities.
- Assisting with drainage, ducting, and infrastructure installation works.
- Working alongside plant operators and groundworks teams.
- Reading and working from engineering drawings and site plans.
- Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Supporting general civil engineering and construction activities as required.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Pipelayer, Groundworker, Utilities Operative, or Civil Engineering Operative.
- Experience working on utilities, drainage, infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Good understanding of excavation and trench safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- CSCS Card (essential).
- Additional industry-relevant qualifications and certifications would be advantageous.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
