Job Opportunity: Experienced Pipefitter

Connect Appointments is recruiting an experienced Pipefitter to join our Paisley-based client on a temporary to permanent basis.

About the Client

Our client is an established business operating within the industrial sector, undertaking fabrication and installation projects across both workshop and site environments.

What's on Offer?

  • Ongoing temporary to permanent opportunity
  • Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 4:30pm; Friday, 1400
  • £19 per hour (PAYE) or £24 per hour (CIS)

As a Pipefitter, Your Duties Will Include

  • Fabricating and installing stainless steel pipe runs in an industrial environment
  • Following pipework schematics accurately to specification
  • Ability to TIG weld or tac weld beneficial
  • Working across both workshop and onsite environments as required
  • Adhering to all site health and safety requirements at all times

The Ideal Pipefitter Will Have

  • Proven experience in pipefitting and fabrication of stainless steel pipework
  • The ability to read and interpret pipework schematics
  • TIG welding, preferred but tack welding considered
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive, safety-conscious approach to work
