Role Description
The Pipefitter Dairy Pipe Welder is a full-time, on-site role based in Derbyshire UK. This role involves installing, fabricating, and welding stainless steel process pipework for dairy, Brewery & Pharmaceutical factories. Our company specializes in hygienic pipework installations throughout The UK & Ireland, ensuring quality with integrity, and compliance to engineering drawings and food process standards.

Responsibilities

- Performing TIG welding on stainless steel dairy pipe
- Preparing and fitting pipe sections
- Working with steam and process lines as required
- Reading and interpreting technical schematics
- Collaborating with engineering and site teams
- Maintaining tools and equipment
- Adhering to safety and quality procedures throughout all stages of installation and fabrication
Qualifications
- Strong pipework skills, including experience working with process pipe and hygienic dairy pipe installations.
- Demonstrated pipefitting abilities, including measuring, cutting, bending, and assembling pipe systems to drawings and specifications.
- Proficient welding skills, with hands-on experience in TIG welding on stainless steel and other relevant materials.
- Experience working with steam and process lines, including awareness of associated safety and pressure considerations.
- Relevant technical training or apprenticeship in pipefitting, welding, or mechanical engineering.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, isometric diagrams, and P&IDs.
- Solid understanding of health and safety practices within industrial and food-grade environments.
- Attention to detail, reliable workmanship, and the ability to work effectively as part of an on-site installation team.
