Job Title: Pipefitter Superintendent

Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset

Compensation: ECSA pay rates + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Day Shift or Night Shift Pipe fitter Superintendent ready for your next adventure? Cavendish Nuclear are seeking experienced Pipe Fitting, Superintendents to join our team at the prestigious Hinkley Point C project. The Role

  • Play a pivotal role in building the UK's clean energy future.
  • Work within the MEH Alliance, collaborating effectively to deliver complex piping and cabling systems.
  • Lead on Safety and Production: Champion nuclear safety culture while maximising team productivity.
  • Oversee efficient delivery of work scopes, identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain adherence to regulations, agreements, and procedures.
  • Manage Project Progress: Schedule, track progress, and issue daily reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Liaise with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal and external parties (HPC representatives, Client etc.), attend progress meetings as required.
  • Ensure trainees and apprentices receive appropriate and varied experience and training within the confines of the work allocated.
  • Manage and co-ordinate sub-contractors.

You are a great fit if you have:

  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter Superintendent within an engineering project.
  • Proven track record in nuclear power preferred.
  • Experience working on major construction projects.
  • Relevant Skills Card (where required)

Qualifications

  • Relevant Pipefitting Professional Accreditation (NVQ or Diploma Level 3 minimum in Relevant Discipline)
  • Must have a CCNSG Safety Passport
  • SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely
