Pipewelder

Location: Morley, England, Yorkshire & The Humber

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £46,192 - £54,440 per annum + Pension & 34 days holiday + buy 4 days

Working Hours: 7am until 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, 42 standard hours, lunch and breaks are paid!

Responsibilities:

  • Welding to X-ray standard on both stainless and carbon steel (mild) materials
  • Ability to read drawings and cut pipe spools unsupervised
  • Majority of the welding is TIG & MAG welding
  • Strong mechanical assembly & fitting skills required (onsite work may be required occasionally)
  • Fabricating pipes, flanges, plant rooms, skids to a high specification onto pipe spools
  • Adhere to strict Health and Safety standards set by the company

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in fabrication and pipe welding with stainless steel and mild steels for 2 years or more
  • Necessary qualifications/apprenticement/be time served and experienced in MIG TIG welding within a similar engineering environment
  • A Driving License and own vehicle due to the location of the site and potential wagon driving ad hoc on the job
