Job Description
🚀 The Job Mission
- Perform detailed pipe stress analysis for high-integrity piping systems across complex nuclear projects.
- Provide specialist engineering input covering flexibility, thermal, seismic, and equipment loading assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II software
- Assess flexibility, thermal expansion, vibration, and seismic loading
- Evaluate pipe supports, restraints, and spring hanger requirements
- Apply ASME, EN, RCC-M, and project-specific design requirements
- Assess piping loads transferred onto connected mechanical equipment
- Produce clear stress reports, calculation notes, and technical justifications
- Review piping layouts, isometrics, and 3D models for stress requirements
- Coordinate technical interfaces with piping, process, and structural teams
- Support design reviews, risk assessments, and nuclear quality requirements
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project teams

Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- Proven experience as a Pipe Stress Engineer on complex projects
- Strong proficiency using CAESAR II for piping stress analysis
- Working knowledge of ASME Section III and B31 piping codes
- Understanding of static equipment including vessels and heat exchangers
- Strong understanding of piping flexibility and support methodologies
- Excellent technical report writing and documentation skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities
- Experience within nuclear or other high-integrity industries advantageous
- Knowledge of E3D, PDMS, Navisworks, or AutoCAD advantageous
