The Opportunity

As a Pitch Designer, you will be at the heart of our business development and work-winning activity. Working closely with our Design, Business Development and Pre-Construction teams, you'll translate client briefs into powerful visual stories that showcase our creativity, expertise and understanding of workplace design.

You'll be responsible for developing highly engaging pitch documents, presentations and bid responses that help differentiate Modus in a competitive market.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative designer who enjoys fast-paced project work, strategic thinking and delivering impactful design that directly contributes to business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and production of client pitches, tenders, presentations and bid submissions.
  • Transform complex information into visually engaging and persuasive design narratives.
  • Create compelling pitch concepts that respond directly to client requirements, culture and workplace objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with Business Development, Design and Leadership teams to develop winning strategies and messaging.
  • Design high-quality presentation decks, proposal documents, infographics and visual content.
  • Develop mood boards, concept imagery and workplace storytelling materials that support pitch presentations.
  • Ensure all bid and presentation materials maintain the highest standards of creativity, quality and brand consistency.
  • Support designers and project teams with visual content for client workshops and engagement activities.
  • Manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities within a fast-moving environment.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve pitch quality, presentation standards and bid processes.

About You

You'll be a highly creative designer with strong graphic communication skills and a passion for storytelling through design.

Essential Experience

  • Degree qualified in Graphic Design, Interior Design, Visual Communication or a related discipline.
  • Experience producing high-quality proposals, presentations, pitches or bid documents.
  • Exceptional layout, typography and visual communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Advanced PowerPoint presentation design skills.
  • Ability to interpret client briefs and communicate ideas visually.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Desirable

  • Experience within workplace design, architecture, interiors, design and build, construction or professional services.
  • Experience supporting tender submissions and competitive pitch processes.
  • Knowledge of workplace design and evolving workplace trends.
  • Experience creating visualisations, motion graphics or digital content.
  • Understanding of branding, placemaking and employee experience principles.
