About the Role
As a Pizza Chef, you’ll be preparing pizza from scratch by understanding the working methods, fermentation processes, and cooking techniques. You’ll be responsible for the operation and organisation of the kitchen by setting daily production levels and guidelines and delegating to the team.
In this role, you’ll be managing the planning and forecasting of stock levels and orders, always ensuring compliance to all internal systems including SAP, and Workday. You’ll guarantee that Food Safety standards are adhered to by enforcing the high standard of hygiene and sanitation in all food-related outlets.
About You
- Strong track record of hospitality experience, preferably within a prestigious pizzeria or high-end Italian restaurant.
- Great knowledge and passion for food and drink.
- Ability to make different pizza doughs with different kinds of hydration and operate and bake pizza using traditional wood-fired oven.
- Great time-management skills and a strong customer focus when dealing with both internal and external parties.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and good attention to detail.
- Good PC literacy (Word, Excel, and preferably SAP).
