Pizza Chef – Gino D'Acampo Restaurant, Leeds
We are looking for a passionate and talented Pizza Chef to join the kitchen brigade at Gino D'Acampo Restaurant within the Leeds Marriott Hotel.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled Pizza Chef who takes pride in producing authentic, high-quality pizzas while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, presentation, and service.
This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week over 5 days.
What You'll Do
- Prepare, cook, and present authentic, high-quality pizzas to the highest standard.
- Prepare and manage pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and ingredients to ensure consistency and quality.
- Operate and maintain pizza ovens safely and efficiently.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation across every service.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to deliver exceptional food and service.
- Assist with preparation and organisation of the kitchen and pizza section.
- Ensure all ingredients are correctly stored, labelled, and rotated to maintain freshness and minimise waste.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Work efficiently during busy services while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Contribute ideas and support menu development and seasonal specials where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure an outstanding guest experience.

What we're looking for
- Previous experience working as a Pizza Chef or in a similar role within a high-quality restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of pizza preparation, dough making, and cooking techniques.
- A genuine passion for fresh, quality ingredients and Italian-inspired cuisine.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- A positive attitude and strong team-working skills.
- Knowledge of food hygiene legislation and HACCP procedures.
- An eye for detail and pride in consistently delivering exceptional pizzas.
- A willingness to learn, develop, and contribute to a positive kitchen environment.
