Role Description
The Professional Work Experience (PWE) Team is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Placement and Internship Specialist to develop placements for Brunel students to retain the department’s premier position as an award-winning service.

The post-holder will support both undergraduate and postgraduate students through all aspects of their placement applications working creatively with academic departments and employers to develop students' employability and ensure an adequate supply of placement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in achieving their career aspirations within a recruitment environment or a related field in higher education.
- Be a confident presenter with the ability to motivate students to compete effectively in a challenging job market.
- Have advanced IT skills and experience of developing administrative systems.
- Lead on the development of PWE systems and technology enhancement.
- Contribute to the wider strategy of academic departments and the PWE, which operates as a one-stop-shop for students and employers.
- Work in a variety of subject areas including Business, IT, Engineering, Arts, Humanities, Law and Social Science subjects.
- Occasional weekend work will be expected.
