We are hiring a Placement Co-Ordinator
Thornbury Nursing Services (part of Acacium Group)
Hybrid in our Bristol office with 2-3 days a week from home
Permanent | Full-Time
£24,784.50 per annum
8-hour shifts between 07:00 and 22:00, including Bank Holidays. Common shift patterns include 07:00-15:00, 08:00-16:00, 10:00-18:00, 12:00-20:00 and 14:00-22:00
£24,286 per annum with double pay on Christmas and 20% uplift on unsociable hours and Bank Holidays!
We are hiring a Placement Co-Ordinator to join Thornbury Nursing Services, one of the UK's leading providers of specialist nursing and healthcare staffing solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and booking nurses and healthcare professionals into client shifts, ensuring excellent service delivery for both clients and healthcare workers. You'll build strong relationships, respond to queries, manage bookings, and play a key role in supporting business growth while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate and manage healthcare staffing bookings, matching workers to client requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and clients.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, responding to queries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Update booking systems and ensure all shift information is accurate and communicated effectively.
- Work closely with internal teams to support service delivery, compliance, and incident resolution.
- Gather feedback from clients and workers to drive continuous improvement and enhance service quality.
- Promote online booking tools and services to support business growth and efficiency.
- Work towards individual and team KPIs while delivering outstanding customer service.
What we're looking for:
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Confidence using systems and technology to manage bookings and information.
- Previous experience in administration, scheduling, customer service, recruitment coordination, healthcare staffing, or workforce planning would be advantageous.
