About The Role
During this 12-month placement, you will work as part of the IT Department’s PMO Team, gaining practical experience across a variety of IT and digital projects. You will help support the delivery of Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI, as well as software implementation initiatives (off the shelf or custom built) throughout the project lifecycle, from defining requirements to successful deployment. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, build professional experience, and gain first-hand exposure to a career in IT and project management.

What You’ll Do
- Assist in the planning, coordination and delivery of IT and Digital project initiatives.
- Track project progress and identify and manage any risks, issues and decisions where required.
- Ensure project activities remain aligned with the agreed scope.
- Potential to lead the delivery of smaller projects, working closely with Business Analysts and the PMO Manager to ensure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Relationship Manager to support the achievement of project benefits and expected business outcomes.
What You’ll Need
- Undertaking a relevant degree to the subject area
- Understanding of project management processes and techniques.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Use of Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
