Placement Product Consultant

Job Profile Description

What is a Placement?

Eligibility: Our Placement Programme is designed for undergraduate students who are in their second year of study and will be entering their third year. This 12-month fixed-term contract begins in the summer and is part of a sandwich year Placement at Level 6. It provides invaluable real-world industry experience. Please note that we can only consider applications from candidates who meet these criteria.

Purpose: The Placement aims to offer undergraduates a full year of industry experience between their second and final years of study, running from summer to summer. This opportunity allows students to apply classroom theory in a practical setting and gain valuable hands-on experience.

Your Role as a Placement Product Consultant

As a Placement Product Consultant, you’ll be a valued member of our client-facing consulting teams across Healthcare and Public sectors. You’ll collaborate with others to understand user and business needs, contribute to business analysis activities, and help shape user stories that make a difference.

You’ll be supported every step of the way, working alongside experienced Product consultants who are passionate about mentoring and sharing knowledge. By the end of the programme, you’ll be equipped with the skills and confidence to help transform organisations—and perhaps even become one of our future leaders.

We embrace a dynamic, fast-paced environment where adaptability, curiosity, and teamwork are celebrated.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
