Position Overview
Crux Product Design is an ambitious and growing consultancy, specialising in the development of medical and consumer devices. We are seeking motivated Intern Project Managers to join our team in Bristol for a 12-month placement starting in summer 2027, supporting the delivery of some of the world’s most exciting product development projects.
In this role, you will work closely with our multi-disciplinary design and engineering teams, helping to manage projects from concept through to production. You will play a central role in ensuring projects run smoothly, on time and to the highest standard, with the opportunity to gain exposure to all stages of the development process.
This is an excellent opportunity for innovative, delivery-focused individuals who are eager to learn, grow and contribute in a fast-paced yet supportive environment. At Crux, Project Managers hold a key position of responsibility, and your success in this role will be integral to the success of the company.

What We’re Looking For
- On track to achieve a first or high 2:1 classification in a relevant engineering degree program.
- Understanding of planning tasks and defining project scope, goals and deliverables.
- Ability to track project progress, delivering on-time and budget.
- Ability to address issues as they arise, and both make and drive decisions.
- Ability to communicate ideas and work flexibly within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong report writing skills.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to work within multiple cross-disciplinary teams and be client facing.
