PLACEMENT STUDENT – Blockline Quality
We are looking for an enthusiastic Engineering Student to join our team specializing in Manufacturing/Assembly for our Plant Quality business unit in Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer 2027. The requirements are to be fully on-site, so you will need to be able to travel or relocate to the location on your own behalf.

- Assisting in defect diagnosis and parts disposition on the shop floor
- Collating and analyzing machine/assembly data via Power BI, Minitab, etc., and identifying improvement areas to ensure efficient operations
- Coordinating with a wide variety of teams to report and repair identified defects
- Collaborating with suppliers on weekly reports, improvements, and actions
- Working cross-functionally gaining exposure to a wide range of business areas and projects
- Supporting Quality Group presentations
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Studying for a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Excellent communication skills
- Data analysis skills including the use of Microsoft packages, experience with Power BI would be beneficial but not essential as full training would be provided
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
