Business Analyst Student Placement

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Analyst student to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning at our Drivetrain and Braking Systems Site in Redditch. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.

This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2027.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support business improvement, reporting, and process optimisation activities across the organisation.
  • Working closely with operational teams and stakeholders.
  • Analyse data, identify trends, document processes, and help drive improvements that enhance efficiency and customer experience.
  • Analyse business data and create reports to support decision-making.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Document existing business processes and recommend improvements.
  • Gather and interpret business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement and project activities across multiple departments.
  • Prepare presentations and summaries of findings for management teams.
  • Ensure data accuracy and maintain reporting standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Working towards a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Management, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI is advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced business environment.
