Demand Analyst Placement

We are looking for an enthusiastic Demand Analyst to join our team specializing in Marketing for our UK Demand Team in Huddersfield, UK. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.

This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer 2027.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support the preparation and distribution of forecast accuracy KPI and demand planning reports.
  • Assist with monthly demand planning and consensus review meetings by preparing reports and presentation materials.
  • Maintain forecast data in demand planning systems, including forecast updates and data entry activities.
  • Publish weekly and monthly reports to track forecast and demand changes while supporting data accuracy and integrity.
  • Update customer, market, and product information within planning systems as needed.
  • Assist with data validation, reconciliation, and analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to reporting, planning processes, and data management.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analytical support to the demand planning team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Relevant degree studies – Working towards a degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or Marketing, ideally with a focus on Finance or Data Analysis.
  • Data and analytical skills – An interest in data analysis, reporting, forecasting, and demand planning, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Digital skills – Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI, with an interest in Business Intelligence and data visualization.
  • Problem-solving mindset – Able to analyze information, validate and reconcile data, identify issues, and support effective solutions.
  • Collaboration and communication – Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
  • Proactive approach – Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a changing environment, with a willingness to learn and develop.
