Placement Student – Health, Safety & Environment, Darlington
WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ENTHUSIASTIC STUDENT WHO IS INTERESTED IN HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENT TO JOIN OUR TEAM SPECIALIZING IN ENVIRONMENT FOR OUR ENGINE BUSINESS SEGMENT IN DARLINGTON, UK. DURING YOUR PLACEMENT WITH US, YOU WILL LEARN HOW A MAJOR GLOBAL ORGANIZATION OPERATES, GAINING THE TOOLS AND EXPOSURE YOU WILL NEED TO BECOME AN EXPERT IN THE INDUSTRY.
THIS ROLE IS AVAILABLE TO CANDIDATES WHO QUALIFY FOR A PLACEMENT YEAR AND WILL COMMENCE SUMMER OF 2027.
THIS ROLE WILL BE ONSITE, SO YOU MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO THE LOCATION.

- Running projects that add real impact and value.
- Supporting the HSE team with project work and COSHH assessments.
- Conducting research and investigation for projects in specific areas of Health, Safety and environment.
- Managing the completion of project reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis with the Regional Health, Safety and Environment leaders.
- Preparing and publishing the monthly Health, Safety and Environment reports.
- Providing support to the team with internal auditing running projects that add real impact and value.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Working towards a degree in Health & Safety / Environmental, Business administration or STEM
- Excellent IT skills, in particular Microsoft packages and ideally experience using Power BI.
- Ability to collate data, solve problems and think innovatively
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
