PLACEMENT STUDENT – Sales and Business Development
We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales and Business Development Placement Student to join our team specializing in Sales for our Power Systems Business Segment in UK, Sandwich. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.
This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2027.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Join our BESS International Sales team for a 12-month placement and gain hands-on experience in one of the fastest-growing areas of the energy industry.
- You’ll work alongside experienced sales and business development professionals, supporting real international customer opportunities and helping to bring Battery Energy Storage System solutions to market.
- The role will give you exposure to commercial proposals, pricing and margin analysis, market research, sales tools, business development and opportunity management.
- Support teams across the business and interact with international customers and dealers, developing valuable commercial, analytical and communication skills.
- This is an excellent opportunity to build practical experience in renewable energy, international sales and business development.
- Gaining an insight into how a global organisation develops and delivers innovative energy solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you will need the following:

- Studying towards a Business/Sales/Marketing/Commercial/contracts/ administration degree
- Excellent IT skills, in particular Excel and PowerPoint (Access, Visio, and Power BI beneficial but not essential)
- Ability to understand data, problem solving and think innovatively
- Team player and ability to manage workload effectively
